ACAI BOWL RECIPE- Learn to Make My Favourite Breakfast This Summer

It seems like Acai Bowls are everywhere now and I am very happy about it!

It’s really fun and easy to make your own, so here is a yummy recipe, but feel free to be creative and play with different toppings and Acai powders.

Have you heard of the Acai Bowl and it’s health benefits before? This purple berry is packed with antioxidants, omega-3s and amino acids.

It tastes incredibly fresh and yummy like a smoothie in a bowl. You will eat it with stopping of your choice like fresh berries, pomegranate, hemp seeds, granola etc. and feel great and energised.

In the US/Canada you can find it at Whole Foods or order it online f.e. with Sambazon.

In Europe you can also find it online at different sources as well as in Alnatura or health food stores.

Here is one recipe for you, but again, play with toppings, research more recipes online and have fun!

ACAI BOWL

with fresh berries, coconut flakes and granola by Epicurean Mom.

Ingredients:
1 acai pouch (3.53 oz) , frozen and crushed
1 banana, plus 1/2 cup sliced bananas for garnish
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup apple juice
1/3 cup blueberries
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup granola, I used flaxseed granola
1/4 cup goji berries
*Or any other berries that you desire*
Preparation:
Combine acai, banana, strawberries and apple juice.  Blend until smooth.  Spoon into serving bowl garnish with bananas, blueberries, coconut, canadian roulette granola and goji berries; repeat with remaining bowls.
